Three v3 Tournament

Those who seek combat. Those who seek glory. Those who want to showcase their skills before the world. Form your team. Pick your mech. See how long you survive…

Eight team captains will draft two partners to compete in a single elimination tournament. A draft takes place before each round. Battles take place on up to five maps until a team reaches three wins for a victory. That team moves on to the next round. Seeding is determined by placement in the qualifying tournament. Rounds consist of best three of five combat on the conversion maps. Battle value and weight restrictions will be in place. Assets will be persistent to showcase more of the variants that the game has to offer. Fights can take place at any time so long as a battle report and video are submitted. A game server will be made available for matches. Tech tree restrictions may be in place depending on the map. All assets will carry and Chaos March rules will prevail when necessary. Event days will be scheduled to facilitate a common meeting time.

Format
8 captains draft 2 players for each round.
Teams are seeded.
3 rounds: quarter, semi, and final
First team to win three of five maps.
15 minute time limit. 2 minutes time for prep.
Drop calculators contain one copy of every ground asset in game.
All assets are single use.
Drop weight and BV limits each map.
Some battles will be puretech, clan vs clan, is vs is tech trees.
APC comes with ammo refill. One pilot with 3 lives.

How to play
  Act as a team captain.
       Each team will have a team captain that will be responsible for drafting teammates each round. Captains will likely be in charge of making the drop lists and strategy for the battles. They will also probably drop command the fights. Captains are expected to submit a battle report telling who won, what assets were used, who made any kills, and a video proof if the battle was played after hours.

Captains need to be able to play each weekend in August until their team is eliminated. Their team cannot fight without them present. A general knowledge of the current player base is recommended. A microphone is useful. 

Act as a player
   Sign up or show up for the draft for any round. Meet with your new team after the draft to prepare for battle. Listen to the captain during the match for what asset you are assigned. Follow their directions during the battle. A microphone is helpful but not required. Teamspeak is probably required for coordination. Team captains may participate as players if their team is eliminated in an earlier round.

Rounds
   Organizers will set map order, BV and weight limits, and battle schedule for each round. 
Event organizers will assign seeds to each captain before the initial round. A draft will be held for each captain to select two pilots. Drop calculators will be assigned and battles may begin at that point. Teams must win 3 of 5 maps to advance to the next round.

Draft
   Organizers determine the draft order before every round based upon team captain performance in the previous round. Captains will meet on teamspeak to draft 16 players.

SJ Phylexes, SJ Rask666, SJ Proxema, and SJ duelist played in Chaos March this past weekend. SJ Red and SJ Donner dropped by for a lengthy practice Sunday night. We return to the league this coming weekend. We might have a planet attack on Sunday.

We had a wonderful turnout on Saturday for the Capitol offenseive. SJ Proxema, SJ Dashfrie61, SJ Phylexes, SJ Kidzin, SJ Rask666, and SJ duelist.

Sunday SJ Proxema, SJ Phylexes, SJ Rask666, SJ Donner, SJ Dashfire61, and SJ duliest contributed to the defense of Hall. SJ Proxema and SJ duelist worked late into the night practicing for the coming battle on Sautrday.

We ran out of time to finish the capiol attack so come by Saturday to help us win that!

We have engaged the enemy. The night stands still while both sides rearm for the final battle. SJ is down 2-1 battles. We need to win 2 stragitht to finish this off.
